Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems are an important part of any building and are used in wide range of building types. Such as, residential, commercial buildings (e.g., hotels, hospitals, schools, universities, office buildings, etc.) and industrial buildings (factories, warehouses, manufacturing plants, etc.)
If an air-handling unit at one of your facilities stops working, how soon will you know about it? In many buildings, occupant complaints are the first indication that it’s too hot, forcing FMs to backtrack to the faulty equipment.
Typical uses include:
UX120-006M
Measures - Data Logging
The HOBO 4-Channel Analog data logger has 16-bit resolution and can record up to 1.9 million measurements or events. The four external channels accept a variety of sensors, including temperature and split-core AC current sensors as well as 4-20 mA and voltage input cables (sold separately). You can set up burst logging in which the logger records data at a different interval during certain conditions. The logger can also calculate minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviation statistics. Built-in LCD screen to check current readings and to monitor logging status, battery use, and memory consumption in between readouts
State-Pulse-Runtime Data Logger
Measures - Operating Schedule
The HOBO State/Pulse/Event/Runtime data logger records state changes, electronic pulses and mechanical or electrical contact closures from external sensing devices. This logger is ideal for monitoring energy consumption, mechanical equipment operation, and water and gas flow. The HOBO UX90-001 State Logger is available in a standard 128 KB memory model (UX90-001) capable of 84,650 measurements and an expanded 512KB memory version (UX90-001M) capable of over 346,795 measurements.
Temperature Sensor
Measures - Temperature in Air, Water, or Soil
A temperature sensor for use with HOBO U-Series external-channel data loggers, this model measures temperature in air, water, or soil. Accuracy and resolution vary according with attached logger model. Measurement range is -40° to 50°C (-40° to 122°F) in water or soil, -40° to 100°C (-40° to 212°F) in air; response time is minutes typical to 90% in air moving 1 m/sec (2.2 mph); response time in stirred water is 1 minute typical to 90%.
Temperature Sensor 20'
Measures - Temperature in Air, Water, or Soil
Measure temperature in air, water, or soil with the 6.1m (20 ft) TMC20-HD temperature sensor. This product is designed to be used with HOBO USeries, UX120-006M external-channel data loggers or ZW series wireless datanodes. This sensor records temperatures between -40° and 50°C (-40° to 122°F) in water or soil, and between -40° and 100°C (-40° to 212°F) in air. This product provides a response time of minutes typical to 90% in air moving 1 m/sec (2.2 mph); and 1 minute typical to 90% response time in stirred water. Please note, accuracy and resolution depend on data logger.
HOBO U12-008
Measures - Data Logging
4-External Channel Outdoor/Industrial Data Logger. Employ multiple energy and environmental sensors, ranging from amps to temperature, with the HOBO U12-008 data logger. Its weatherproof enclosure allows the U12-008 to be flexible to deploy inside or outdoors. The HOBO U12-008 memory stores 43,000 measurements of 12-bit resolution readings.
HOBO CTV-C AC
Measures - Current
A split-core AC current sensor responsive over the range of 5 to 100 amps AC for use with U12, UX120, and ZW data loggers with external input channels. With an input current of AC current, sine wave, single phase 50 Hz or 60 Hz, load power factor 0.5 to 1.0 lead or lag.
HOBO CTV-D AC
Measures - Current
A split-core AC current sensor responsive over the range of 5 to 200 amps AC for use with U12, UX120, and ZW data loggers with external input channels. With an input current of AC current, sine wave, single phase 50 Hz or 60 Hz, load power factor 0.5 to 1.0 lead or lag.
