Description:

The Knit Lecture Series is designed and sponsored by Eric M. Roberts ‘05, Knit's CEO and President, for the students in the U of I College of Art and Architecture.

The series is designed to link generations of Idaho students and professionals through vibrant conversation around a shared passion for design. Students will benefit from inspiration provided by the presentation of innovative and vibrant design and career pathways; while Idaho alumni and professionals will benefit from a renewed connection with the future of the design professions. The connection of professionals with the College of Art and Architecture faculty and students will create a vibrant community that fulfills the powerful promise of the University of Idaho.


Bio:

Lyndsey Archer

Lyndsey Archer is an award-winning experiential designer specializing in the design and execution of immersive environments across flagship retail, hospitality, and entertainment. With a background in interior architecture and entertainment design, she has spent her career shaping destination that go beyond aesthetics - crafting experiences that captivate, engage, and leave lasting impressions.
For over a decade, Lyndsey honed her expertise working on complex, large-scale projects at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she contributed to one-of-a-kind entertainment destinations and experiences across the company's global portfolio . Since co-founding Studio Archer, she has led groundbreaking projects for Virgin Galactic, Barbie, the LA Clippers, Netflix and contributed to large-scale developments such as Qiddiya. Whether reimagining retail, shaping hospitality concepts, or designing next-generation sports and entertainment venues, she brings a distinct ability to merge brand narrative with spatial design, transforming how people engage with their environments.
Lyndsey’s artistic approach blends hand-drawn illustrations with cutting-edge digital tools, ensuring every design is as imaginative as it is meticulously executed. A Design: Retail "40-Under-40" honoree, she partners with visionary brands and leaders who seek more than just beautiful spaces—they want experiences that resonate, inspire, and leave a lasting impact. Through Studio Archer, she helps bring those bold ideas to life with creativity, precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
