0 - 005 Amps

Sensor, CT, Split-Core, 0-005 Amp

Measures:
Current

Split-core current sensors "sense" AC current from 1 to 200 Amps passing through the center conductor. Split-core current transformers are ideal for installation on existing electrical wiring by snapping around the conductor. The Magnelab SCT Current Sensor series have a self-locking mechanism.

Sensor Range (Accuracy):
Phase angle < 2 degrees (valid for 70A or higher) 8 ft. twisted-pair lead & Linearity accuracy ± 1% UL, c(UL) recognized, CE, and RoHS compliant Accuracy at 10% to 130% of rated current

Measures:
Current | Voltage

Current Transformers (CTs) measure the amount of electricity flowing in a circuit. CTs are used with a WattNode meter, which also measures voltage.
The current and voltage measurements are used by the meter to to calculate power and energy (kW and kWh).
Standard Accuracy
Accuracy: ±0.75% from 1% to 120% of rated primary current
Phase angle: ±0.50 degrees (30 minutes) from 1% to 120% of rated current
IEEE C57.13 accuracy: class 1.2 from 1% to 120% of rated current
IEC 60044-1 accuracy: class 1.0 from 1% to 120% of rated current
