Description:

What is EnergyPlus?
EnergyPlus is one of the most established and comprehensive building energy simulation programs. It can be used to model the energy consumption for heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, plug loads and process loads. This makes EnergyPlus great for making design decisions and sizing equipment.
What is OpenStudio?
OpenStudio is a front-end for EnergyPlus that enables parametric analysis of design features. This allows the user to estimate energy efficiency measure impacts and payback periods.
