Description:

This one-hour inter-active workshop looks at the 2015/18 Energy Code Section R406 titled "Energy Rating Index Compliance Alternative" and what it entails. Based on the popular HERS (Home Energy Rating Score) that allows flexibility for builders and home designers to meet or exceed energy code requirements. ERI may also provide a valuable option to jurisdictions currently seeking above code programs. The workshop will include a live demonstration of the RESNET software used in HERS with instructions for plan reviewers and field inspections.
